Francisco has more than 20 years of experience in strategy consulting within the energy, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. He has a particular focus on growth strategies, business digitalization, organisational transformation, and new venture development in the context of the energy transition. In his career, he has supported CxOs in creating strategic value by helping companies accelerate the impact of their transformation programs. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from UPC, as well as executive education from IESE, Stanford School of Business, and Instituto de Empresa. Francisco is passionate about working with entrepreneurs. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and long after-dinner talks with his family and friends.

For the last 12 years, he has been part of the management team at a leading International Environmental Asset company, working across Spain, the UK, and spending 6 years in Shanghai as CEO of various business lines. He combines deep consulting expertise with 12 years of executive experience, overseeing full P&L accountability in a multinational company. Since joining Metyis, he has been focused on Middle East water and energy companies and authorities supporting their business transformation and PPP programs. He enjoys being in nature, cycling, and fishing.

He has provided guidance to executives in achieving top-line growth, and leading business transformations (Operational Excellence, Customer Experience, and Organisational Redesign) across various sectors in Europe, Latin America, and Africa. Recently, his focus has centred on the Energy & Utility sector, leading opportunities to advance the energy transition. He thrives on collaborating closely with clients and teams to generate tangible business value. Outside work, Fernando, a father of two, cherishes moments spent with his family and friends.
