Corporate legends join Metyis: former Carlsberg and SHV CEOs amplify Advisory Council's global impact

Metyis is proud to announce the appointment of two distinguished business leaders, Cees 't Hart and Jeroen Drost, to our Advisory Council. This strategic move comes as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our governance structure and partnerships with fresh perspectives and the best leadership.
Cees 't Hart and Jeroen Drost bring decades of leadership experience from some of the world's most renowned companies. Cees and Jeroen will now join Chairman Juan María Nin Génova and Members Alexandra Rocca and Willem Brocker on the Advisory Board. These appointments reflect our commitment to continually enhancing our capabilities and delivering impactful solutions to our clients.
Cees 't Hart joins our Advisory Council following a distinguished 40-year career in the FMCG industry. Most recently, he served as the CEO of Carlsberg Group from 2015 until 2023. His journey includes a 25-year tenure at Unilever, where he held various roles across five countries. Cees’ leadership was instrumental in facilitating the merger that formed Royal FrieslandCampina, which he subsequently led for nearly eight years.
Further to his executive roles, 't Hart currently serves as the Chairman of Randstad and holds a directorship at Mondelez. His commitment to social causes is evident in his role as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at SOS Children's Villages Netherlands. 't Hart's contributions have been recognised with the title of Officer of the Order of Orange-Nassau in the Netherlands and Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur in France.
Jeroen Drost joins Metyis' Advisory Council with a rich background in finance and conglomerate management. Most notably, Drost served as the CEO of SHV Holdings from 2016 until April 2024. During his tenure at SHV, Drost played a pivotal role in fostering the partnership between SHV and Metyis, which began five years ago. This collaboration led to the creation of Adaptfy, a joint venture embedded within SHV that focuses on bringing cutting-edge Data and Analytics solutions to the organisation.
The partnership with SHV under Drost's leadership has been a cornerstone of innovation and digital transformation. Adaptfy stands as a testament to the power of combining Metyis’ expertise with SHV's ambitions to drive significant advancements in data analytics and digital capabilities.
Prior to his role at SHV, Drost demonstrated his versatile leadership as CEO of NPM Capital and NIBC Bank. Currently, he serves on the supervisory boards of Randstad, Signify, and Ebusco, further showcasing his broad expertise across multiple industries. Drost is also an advisor to the TSD Group and serves on the board of the Voorlinden Endowment Foundation.
